It's been a long time coming but I'm in a good place in my life now and I'm very happy with who I am so I'm in no hurry, certainly not desperate and will never lower my standards. I would rather go home alone than to wake up having done something I regret. ¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·. My goal, simple, I just want what everybody else wants, love and happiness. I know, it's not that simple but I'm not giving up. It's not in my nature. I don't like drama or mean spirited people. Life is terminal no body gets outta this thing alive so the best we can hope for is a little happiness, And to try to pass on some to others! and I'm a firm believer in the saying "mean people suck". ¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸ I am honest and true to my word person my pictures are about a year old some are newer . I've got nothing to hide and the right person could ask me any questions about my life. I only ask for honesty in return . The bottom line is this, I'm looking for someone that makes me ache when we're apart and my toes curl when we're together. I love to travel and hope to find some one that does to! As Mark Twain said so eloquently Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness. ¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸ The years slide by. The dreams of youth grow dim where they lie, caked in dust on the shelves of our dreams. Before we know it, We are but dust ourselves . For years we tuck away small treasures, so that in maturity we can have a few short years to enjoy the fruits of a lifetime of labors. But as the awaited time draws near, too many find that failure of health and mobility averts this dream from reality. Where, then lies the answer? In choice. Be it bankruptcy of purse, or bankruptcy of life? The loss of my wife brought lucidity to my own decision. Go now, while still young and healthy enough to enjoy the adventure. So now for me my bucket list is being checked off! I just bought the boat! As for finding true love again? Well that remains to be seen, but there's a whole world out there! ¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸«(((º¸¸.·´¯`·.¸ My bucket list? sail around the world or at least the good parts! and find true love again! First date ? Coffee and conversation, See if we gel we go from there. And lady's it's just coffee and talk! after if your not interested that's it! life's to short for me to waste the one thing we can' get back! Time. Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do, than by the things you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover." (Mark Twain)
